Pakistan Sweet Homes is primarily a home for orphan children who have lost one or both their parents where they are being provided boarding, education, co-curricular and recreational facilities. Pakistan Sweet Home started with a single child and today with the support from the sponsors; they have been able to establish 31 centers in all the four provinces of Pakistan, Gilgit and Azad Jammu Kashmir.PHPWS Rwp/Isb Chapter was fortunate enough to have been invited on the opening ceremony of the Independence Day Celebrations held at the PHS. The attendees were welcomed by Mr. Zamurrad Khan and were thanked for joining him and his team on the auspicious day. A fun filled comedy stage drama was performed by Khawaja Masood & his team related to the Independence Day of Pakistan in which the children were taught the importance of unity. It was not only entertaining for the children, but the adults too were reminded the importance of being one and standing together. The patients and staff of the PHPWS Rwp/Isb Chapter were also served a delicious dinner and were shown around. The whole team of PHPWS Rwp/Isb Chapter would like to thank Mr. Zamurrad Khan and the team at Pakistan Sweet Homes for inviting us and sharing the true spirit of Pakistan’s Independence Day.
